KCNA Rebukes U.S. Human Rights Racket against DPRK

Pyongyang, November 30 (KCNA) -- The United States recently held in Washington "a meeting of foreign policy-makers who are concerned about human rights situation in north Korea."

This is an imprudent behavior of the worst human rights abuser.

The U.S. styles itself a human rights judge in the international arena. It is ridiculous for it to take issue with human rights performance in other country as it ruthlessly abuses rights of the Occupy Wall Street demonstrators in the U.S.

One should be righteous before admonishing others.

The U.S. is troubled by human rights issue as proven by the Occupy Wall Street demo.

Political freedom and democracy are restricted in the U.S. legally and institutionally.

Elementary right to existence is not guaranteed and the rich get richer and the poor poorer as the days go by, becoming a problem plaguing the society.

In actually, the gap between the rich and poor has become most serious in recent years in the U.S.

Poor mental and cultural life is fostered institutionally, driving people into degeneration, despair and crime.

Isn't the U.S. a country with poor human rights as all sorts of evils including gun-related and drug crimes stalk throughout the land.

It is preposterous for the U.S. to take issue with someone's "human rights issue."

Clear is the aim sought by the U.S. in kicking up the human rights racket.

It regards the independent countries as a thorn in the flesh and is kicking up human rights racket in international arena to tarnish the image of the DPRK.

Those in the U.S. who approach the DPRK with hostility had better face up to the human rights situation in the DPRK with reason.

In a word, "human rights issue" does not exist in the DPRK.

It is the steadfast policy of the DPRK government to promote the well-being of the people.

All the people are fully enjoying genuine freedom and rights thanks to the popular policy of the state which guarantees their rights in a responsible manner.

The whole country forms a big harmonious family in which all the people help and lead each other forward. The U.S. is set to deceive the world through another "human rights offensive" against the DPRK, but people of other countries have not shut their eyes.

The U.S. is well advised to immediately stop speaking ill of human rights situation in the DPRK. -0-
