Song Footsteps

Song Footsteps

The song footsteps is now on the air in the DPRK, praising the supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

In the song there are the words footsteps of our General Kim.

The Korean people have long since used the honorific titleGeneral Kim.

It was President Kim Il Sung they referred to first as General Kim.

President Kim Il Sung led the anti-Japanese armed struggle to victory and liberated Korea.

At that time Kim Il Sung, commander of the Korean Peoples Revolutionary Army, was called Guerrilla General Kim.

True to the cause of Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il smashed the imperialistsmoves for isolation and safeguarded socialist Korea. His activity reminded the Korean people of President Kim Il Sung in the days of guerrillas. And so, they called Kim Jong Il a son of guerrillas referring to him as General Kim of today.

Looking up to respected Kim Jong Un leading the struggle to build a thriving nation as wished by Kim Jong Il, the Korean people intimately called him our General Kim.

In this viewGeneral Kimis neither an official title nor a military rank.

Seeing Kim Jong Un accompanying leader Kim Jong Il on the road of Songun revolutionary leadership, the Korean people respectfully called him General Kim rather than vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Party and have supported him as the great successor to the revolutionary cause of Juche.

After leader Kim Jong Il passed away all of a sudden the Korean people turned their sorrow into strength and courage thanks to Kim Jong Un who is identical to Kim Jong Il.

The song Footsteps will encourage the Korean people advancing in step with General Kim Jong Un.
