           London 3rd December Juche 101 (2021)
The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK , Juche Idea Study Group of England and UK Korean Friendship Association issued the following  commentary

The US imperialists through their mouthpiece the State Dept have tried to interfere in the DPRK's launch of a peaceful working satellite  making slanderous and abusive noises.
The US calls for the upholding of biased and one-sided UNSC resolutions cooked up by itself and its puppets and yes-men in the UN . These resolutions were the height of reactionary imperialist interference in a sovereign state and were rejected by the DPRK.  Such resolutions were unjust and invalid.
Indeed they were in contradiction to the spirit of the UN charter which stipulates non interference in the internal affairs of sovereign nations.
The DPRK has every right to launch a satellite . Other countries in the world have launched artificial satellites without this kind of harassment orinterference.
The satellite is a peaceful satellite. It is not a missile . This has been made clear by the DPRK. It has gone through proper procedures and informed other countries and international bodies of the intention to launch the rocket so no one should take issue with it. The clamour of the US amounts to hysteria and is reminiscent of the US cold war politician who  jumped out of a hospital window shouting "the Russians are coming ". US officials today have the same mentality.
As to the US mouthing about the DPRK's use of resources . First of all it is not the business of the US how the DPRK spends its . Secondly, it is a false accusation anyway  as in fact the DPRK has invested heavily in improving people's living standards. This year saw the completion of Changjon street in Pyongyang , the opening of the Rungna People's Pleasure Park, the Ryugyong Heath Complex and many cultural, sports and health care facilities. In the DPRK food is supplied to people at low cost. It is the USA that needs to invest in alleviating poverty in its own country as has 46 million people (twice the population of the DPRK) living in poverty. Thirdly, the satellite will contribute
to the development of the economy in the DPRK and help improve living standards. Fourthly, the satellite will be launched using 100% DPRK funds, materials, technique and labour displaying the might of the self-reliant independent national economy based on Juche which is not understood by the West.

The US needs to shut up and respect the basic sovereign right of the DPRK to pursue space exploration.
