Greetings to all Songun Idea followers on the occasion of the Day of Songun ! The start of the Songun revolutionary leadership , 54 years ago, on the 25th of August 1960 was a great landmark in the history of the Songun revolution which had been started by the great leader President Kim Il Sung. Great generalissimo Kim Jong Il faithfully followed the road of Songun . He began the Songun revolutionary leadership at a time when the US imperialists were running wild to stifle People's Korea and also when the modern revisionists had given up the anti-imperialist struggle by compromising with imperialism. The Songun revolutionary leadership dealt a strong blow to US imperialism and modern revisionism . Songun politics is known throughout the world as a form of militant revolutionary anti-imperialist politics.
The five plus decades of Songun revolutionary leadership have been years of victory and glory in which the Korean People's Army under the leadership and guidance of the great leader generalissimo Kim Jong Il has been built up to to be an army strong in both ideology and fire-power. The KPA was built up as the army of the leader , the army of the party and the army of the working class , Generalissimo Kim Jong Il ensured the KPA was modelled on the invincible ideology of Kimilsungism .
The KPA was built into an invincible force capable of defeating any aggressor. The KPA is equipped with strategic rockets and the DPRK is a socialist nuclear power with its own deterrent force and a launcher of satellites .
When the US imperialists and the world reactionaries intensified their moves to stifle Korean style socialism by military means great generalissimo Kim Jong Il pursued the Songun politics in all aspects to put forward the KPA as the main forces of the revolution and bolster up the DPRK's defence capabilities.
Now the DPRK is not only known as a land of solid independence but as the powerful anti -US bulwark and land of staunch anti-imperialism .
Today the Songun revolutionary leadership is carried forward by dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un another worthy general of Mt Paektu . He is leading the Korean people to final victory in the anti-US showdown!
