Statement of the KFA The Korean Friendship Association (KFA) publicly denounce the acts of the Police Ministry of Japan, that at 7 AM on March 26th deployed many units including armored vehicles starting a rush search in the houses of Mr. Ho Jong Man, Chairman of Chongryon (Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan) and Nam Sung U, Vice Chairman of Chongryon. Mr. Ho Jong Man and Mr. Nam Sung U are Deputies to the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPR of Korea and the police has no reason or evidence for such action, except if the search is, in reality, a covert spying operation trying to steal information from Chongryon and undermine its reputation.
Japan, that is always crying about the ‘abduction issue’ and ‘fear of military strike’ from the DPRK, has now acquired a bad image as an imperialist failed state, that changes Prime Minister every year and cannot control the aftermath of Fukushima.
Instead of prosecuting the Korean people, Japan has to apologize and compensate all victims for 40 years of occupation and systematic violation of human rights. Otherwise their nation will become not only rejected by Asian neighbors, but destiny will bring them more natural misfortunes that eventually will make the inhabitants pay for their unjust actions.
