The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) , the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA)and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula   issued a joint statement in support of the statement of the Consultative Council for National Reconciliation (CCNR) of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea  made on June 15th:
As previously stated by our organisations the June 15 joint declaration was a great landmark in the history of the struggle for the independent reunification of Korea and it is crucial importance today .
The DPRK had proposed to hold a joint event with south Korea to mark the anniversary of the June 15 declaration. However astoundingly the south Korean authorities responded by saying "it is troublesome to hold joint event to mark June 15 before south Korea-U.S. summit and the issue will be examined within the framework of international sanctions". This shows that the south Korean authorities are on the wrong road and clearly have the wrong attitude . As the DPRK CCNR correctly states "This is just a serious anti-reunification act of chilling the atmosphere for holding the joint national event for improving the north-south relations and opening a new chapter for reconciliation and unity like the June 15 era as early as possible"
Indeed this is correct . The so-called 'liberal ' regime in south Korea is not being supportive of independent reunification and is instead clinging to the US !
If the present south Korean regime wants to avoid the fate of the preceding fascist and conservative regimes of south Korea  it should take the road of independence and take a patriotic stance towards reunification !
