KCNA Commentary Denounces Attempt to Revive Conservatism in S. Korea

Pyongyang, July 24 (KCNA) -- The issuance of "commemorative stamp" for marking the lapse of 100 years since the emergence of traitor Park Chung-hee in south Korea was cancelled.
The Liberal Korea Party and Parun Party members assert the issuance of stamp marking the anniversary of emergence of Park is "obligation of our generation", complaining it is unacceptable to nullify all the decisions of the preceding government, and the reason behind the cancellation should be looked into.
This is the desperate act of the group of traitors seized with extreme uneasiness, prompted by the calculation that the cancellation can be a catalyst giving momentum to the anti-conservative spirit among people of all social standings.
Park was a heinous sycophant and traitor, fascist dictator and confrontational maniac who committed indelible crimes against the nation including the south Koreans.
He enforced the unprecedented "yusin" fascist dictatorship for 18 years, turning whole south Korea into prison without bars, and built the cursed concrete walls, symbolic of national division and confrontation, on this land.
The stamp plan was railroaded last September under the manipulation of Park Geun Hye who set it as her life-long goal to ensure "reinstatement" of her father. It is the dreg of bad administration that should have been eliminated long before along with the impeachment of Park as desired by the south Korean public.
However, the group of conservatives from opposition parties has strongly reacted to the cancellation of the stamp plan, an intolerable mockery and challenge to the candlelight demonstrators.
In the past the group of conservatives held the farce of "state compilation" of history textbook distorting the truth of history and went busy setting up "Committee for Promotion of Commemoration of Park Chung-hee" and erecting a statue of the "yusin" dictator.
All facts prove that the remnants of the "yusin" group, the conservative forces are made up of sordid and heinous persons thinking of prolonging their remaining days even when they breathe their last, being driven into a tight corner.
Unless the remnants of "yusin" dictatorship are removed, the same dark era of disgrace and misfortune as the period of Park's rule can come again.
The south Koreans from all walks of life should never tolerate the wild act of the group of traitors to revive conservatism while eulogizing the "yusin" dictator, but resolutely throw it overboard. -0
