KCNA Commentary Urges Japan to Stop Sophism against DPRK

Pyongyang, July 21 (KCNA) -- Officials of the Japan Foreign Ministry have gone impudent here and there.
Vice Foreign Minister Kiyoshi Otawara flew to Nepal where he let out sophism about "abduction plan" of the DPRK. Calling for control over the travel of north Korean citizens", he solicited for cooperation for isolating and stifling the DPRK including suspension of all exchanges with the DPRK.
Foreign Minister Kishida when meeting the UN secretary general in New York on July 18 requested prompt stronger "sanctions" against the DPRK, saying "north Korea has become threat of higher level. Now is time to tighten pressure".
This is a clear revelation of the anti-DPRK confrontation frenzy of the Japanese reactionaries steeped in hostility toward the DPRK to the marrow of their bones.
Japan is not entitled to say anything about the Korean people.
Still remaining as unhealed scar in the minds of our people are all kinds of shame and contempt they met at the hands of Japan.
During their colonial rule, the Japanese imperialists brutally killed one million innocent Korean people and forcibly drafted 8.4 million young and middle-aged men to force them into hard work. They also abducted 200 000 Korean women, reducing them to sexual playthings of the Imperial Japanese Army. This was an intolerable insult to the nation.
In recent years, disclosures were made that the Japanese anti-DPRK organizations and figures made their way to DPRK-China border areas under the guise of "humanitarianism" and abducted a number of DPRK citizens to Japan by employing appeasement, deception and all other crafty and despicable methods.
Such a country is making a fuss over "threat of abduction", not content with faulting the measure for self-defence of the DPRK. The reason is because they committed huge crimes against the Korean people.
It is quite natural that crime-woven Japan has jitters in the face of the tremendous might and the strategic position of the DPRK which towered as a nuclear power in the East and a world-level rocket power.
The Japanese always suffering from extreme uneasiness and horror let out a story of "threat" day and night, getting surprised by a rustling sound.
Crimes are bound to bring punishment.
Japan's frantic act of sanctions and pressure by following in the footsteps of the U.S. will be a suicidal act of stepping into the striking range itself.
The DPRK keeps tabs on all the crimes committed by Japan and strongly warned that should Japan come out hostile toward the DPRK without facing up to the situation, it will face the strike by powerful ballistic rockets of the DPRK.
Japan had better keep its mouth shut if it wants to maintain even the desolate islands in the Pacific. -
